Duck or Poultry i/d Applicator system
Like a pricing gun, but a system that appears to work on some species.
Ducks have a very fine (if any) sinew at the leading edge of the wing and so the idea is to penetrate and attach an i/d strap by making the smallest hole possible.
Previously Startin Padlock tags were used becasue of the thinness of their needle wire. Even then double tags were required for security.
This tabbing system has replaced it satisfactorily.
