20-TagStrips of all-electronic 'slaughter tags'. Compulsory in Scotland. Robust new design of animal friendly tag. Far tougher and more secure than other designs of thin pinned tags.
Combined with good tagging practice Roxan Tags are the best for retention, according to a recent (July 2011) NFUS subjective survey of Scottish Farmers.
FREE TagFaster Automatic applicator with 500 EID Tags of any type - every time you order !
This makes sure you are kept up to date with our constant-development program
Each tag is printed with the FLOCK NUMBER ONLY, although it is programmed with an individual I/D per UK Ministry regulations. Whilst we are not allowed to print the individual animal number on the tags, the code printed at the bottom of every strip of tags on the spare plastic tag-ends, tells you the start number of every strip. Keep these tag-ends safe as you tag to give you a record of the tags used in that batch of animals.
The same applicator dispenses all versions of our TagFaster System tag - Single Slaughter. Twin EID+Visual Breeding tags, or NON-EID batch slaughter tags. Black Heads denote a SINGLE EID Slaughter Tag in our colour-coded system. If it is slightly more expensive than other systems it is because it is part of a total-tagging solution which gives you unique Twin tagging convenience - with alternating colours and year-colour coding on the EID tag. TagFaster Single Slaughter tags are robust and have excellent retention - reportedly even in creep feeder systems ! The key to successful tagging is using a good tag and fitting it conscientiously.
