Pocket RFiD Reader

The portable full-ISO APR300 Reader from ROXANiD is so small – they fit even
into a shirt pocket – they have a very handy design
and are easy to operate. Uniquely, The two read buttons can be programmed individually and
combined with an action code and description which you create as a text file list. These read buttons can be optionally programmed to record an action instantly without any necessity to confirm your decision; or at the other extreme, an action code can be chosen from a scroll down list along with an additional value from another scroll down list. These scroll-down lists are, again, created as a simple text file on your computer, and downloaded by drag and drop to the APR.
A self generated look-up table (or one provided by your rfid tag supplier) can be downloaded in the same way, to show Manaement identities as opposed to complex rfid numbering.
The large Memory with a
capacity of 2000 transactions is sufficient for more than a
days work. IDs can be combined (in a single key-stroke)with a time stamp
and an action code to save useful information. The results of your days work are uploaded by drag and drop to your pc, as a simple delimited text file, for use in a spreadsheet, or database, or sophisticated software, according to your needs.

Advantages of APR200 und APR300
Thanks to its handy design and the pocket size the reader
are very comfortable even under worse conditions.
The Readers are compatible to the ISO Standard 11785 and
read FDX-B and HDX with good reading range. Tags with the
widely used chip type H4102 can be read optional.
The APR readers have an integrated real-time clock; every
ID can be stored with a time stamp.
The large memory is sufficient for 2000 Ids, including time
stamp and action code.
The large backlit Display has 2 x 16 Characters and is very
readable.
An ergonomic Keyboard with 8 Keys ensure easy and
comfortable operation.
The robust case is IP 54 protected and withstands even
harsh environments.
The APR300 has an additional connection for external
antennas. Furthermore it is prepared for wireless data
communication, loading and power supply together with the
docking station ADS100.
