Roxan sponsor Breed Societies
There was an impressive turnout for the Lleyn Breed Society's 40th annivarsary show and sale of superior in-lamb ewes, meant that our sponsorship proved a very worthwhile move

We also sponsored, along with QMS, the NSA Scotland AGM in Dunblane. An excellent dinner followed an interesting meeting however, although we were given almost no mention while QMS delivered a full talk on their subject. Even the NSA Sheep Farmer report on the meeting failed to acknowledge our involvement. I don't think we would get involved again as a sponsor, although the AGM and Dinner with speakers were both most interesting and entertaining. One of the very few people who visited our 'table' was a delegation from the North Country Cheviot Society who asked if we would sponsor 'something' ! If they would like to contact me to confirm what and when we would be very happy to consider it !
The Scottish Blackface Breeders Border Region held a terribly busy stock judging evening at St Boswell's mart - which we sponsored too. More than 100 enthusiasts turned out for what became a long and enjoyable evening. Although visitors were there for the evening's entertainment, several came to our table to discuss tags, including Andrew Bell who reported 1500 TagFaster Twin tags inserted into hoggs for wintering with no misfires ! We all need good news like this - although, again, a bit like the NSA AGM above, it has to be seen as a longer term invetment rather than a short term gain !
