Anti-bacterial additive in every ROXAN TagFaster pin assists in the fight against harmful bacteria.*

To help the fight against ear-infection, we have now added a silver based Anti-bacterial additive to all our TagFaster pins. This additive inhibits the growth or replication of Staphylococcus Aureus (aka MRSA) & e-Coli by 99.82%**.

Staph Aureus is also called MRSA as far as I know.. but this article on the ScotEID website links it to Ear Infection and we've done something about it ! https://www.scoteid.com/node/432

Silver has been used for thousands of years to prevent the growth of bacteria.

How does it work?

When bacteria come into contact with the protected pin surface, the embedded silver ions prevent them from growing, producing energy or replicating, therefore they die !

Because the additive is embedded within the pin, it provides maximum antibacterial protection for the life of the tag.

*May not guarantee total freedom from infection
